Vision Statement:

In children’s ministry, we desire to “Partner with Parents” in building a solid foundation for children to Love God, Love others, Serve and Love the Lost.” We encourage parents to be the most important spiritual influence in a child’s life.

We provide a safe and secure learning environment for every child in our care. Trusted parent volunteers serve in our preschool and children’s ministry on a rotational basis. Every volunteer must complete a current background check and DHR clearance before serving in this ministry. During the Sunday morning Bible study hour our preschoolers and children learn from the Gospel Project Curriculum which take kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through the Bible. Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation and that every lesson points to Jesus. After experiencing the gospel, a child’s heart can be transformed, helping them to become life-long followers of Jesus Christ!

Nursery and Preschool Ministry:

On Sunday mornings, while parents attend the worship service, we provide loving, nurturing care for bed babies, toddlers and preschoolers as we teach them about Jesus. Our 3 & 4 year olds study Bible lessons from the Gospel Project Curriculum. They also participate in ‘hands-on’ learning activities to re-enforce the lesson.

Children’s Ministry:

In Bible study, at 9:15 a.m., the children participate in age-divided classes (5k-2nd grades & 3rd-5th grades) studying the Gospel Project Curriculum. During the second hour, at 10:30 a.m., the children participate in family worship.

Every 4th Sunday of each month, is Love & Serve Day for the children. They actively participate in worshiping the Lord as they hear the pastor’s message and sing for the glory of God. They serve in a variety of ways such as reading scripture aloud, taking up the offering, singing, handing out bulletins, etc…

On Wednesday evenings, our preschoolers and children participate in the TeamKIDS ministry which encourages Bible study, scripture memorization and how to apply the word to their everyday life situations.
